Mauritian born Jessica, is fulfilling a long time desire to create jewellery.
Now living in Nigeria with her husband, Jessica decided to explore the local culture
and while strolling through a craft market in Abuja she came across a bead trader called Adammo.
Jessica says: “He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his beads. I immediately fell in love with the beauty and diversity of the African beads . Since that day I was hooked. I started to draw my own jewellery to make my own creations. I take my drawings to Adammo’s shop and select the right beads and colours to produce my pieces.
“I have lived in several African countries apart from Nigeria and my designs are a reflection of the passion I feel for Africa and the multiple cultures that I have been exposed to on this beautiful continent.”
